Blogging Silence until July 13th
Who knows, I may find to time to blog before July 13th, but I have to be realistic. I’m on vacation for the next two weeks because of the wedding and other than my course at MUN, I don’t think I’ll be online much.
Yes, I’ll put pictures online as soon as I can.

Having a proud Canadian moment getting our wedding license
I have to share this story!
Brad and I went to apply for our marriage license and the gov’t form was totally gay-friendly. It didn’t assume that we were one gender or the other. We weren’t even labelled “bride” or “groom” but “Spouse”.

I’ll [...]
My wedding weekend starts in 2 weeks

Wedding planning has become so intense that I think I forgot to announce that I’ve been accepted into McGill’s Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science. Due to personal reasons, I’ve deferred starting it until Fall 2010, which includes deferring my pre-paid leave until then.
I’m really excited about it for lots of great reasons!!
Firstly, [...]
Impressive Libraries from History
Out of the blue I received an email from Mark Spicer who publishes The News in Print. He asked if I would consider talking about a recent article he put up about The 7 Most Impressive Libraries From Throughout History.
I thought, why not? After all, one of my favourite books to read in [...]
Typical critical/transformative research paper
For my class, we have to find 3 typical papers representing the 3 research approaches and then identify aspects of the articles that indicate how it fits within that approach. Enjoy!
