Greetings world, welcome to my third incarnation!
LaurietheLibrarian.ca has moved again. I just found my old blog software too limiting, although the blood, sweat, and tears that went into learning MySQL, PHP, and WordPress to get this one up and running gave me quite a bit of doubts along the process. But after all is said and done, I’m much happier with this newer version of my blog and I hope you will too!
Keep your eye on the design as I learn how to add in widgets, plugins, and change the banner. It’s going to be a bumpy but rewarding ride and I’m glad you’ve joined me in this adventure!

Hi Laurie: your mom, dad and Suzanne directed me to you through this site–It is all Greek to me, but congratulations, it looks and reads really cool. All is well with me, a few months into my retirement from nursing. Actually, I am working next week as one of the nurses in on vacation. It will afford me the opportunity to see if I like occasional/casual work. I am having fun cooking Italian dinners for my friends–I limit the guest list so that I don’t cook for more than 6 at a time, as this makes it enjoyable for me, not stressful.
