My Library Thing:
Would you like to be a Featured Visitor?
I’m about to go on vacation, May 8th to the 23rd, in Ontario to visit family and attend and present at WILU 2007. While I’m gone, it’d be great to find a way from keeping this blog looking stale. WordPress allows me to set postings to be released at a later date and time, so why not use it?
What would you think of me having Featured Visitors?
It would be like a mini-interview one would hear on the radio but shorter and in a blog posting. I’m thinking it’ll be like ALIA’s recent postings from some of its newly elected leadership. I know that lots of you are stopping by on a regular basis. According to my statistics, roughly 400 visitors per day is a slow day and I think of all of you like Visitors. I think it’d be fun for both myself and the other readers to know who is stopping by. It’s like when the Talk Show hosts go into the audience and interview audience members. I’m rather excited by the idea.
I’ll need a few volunteers to be the interviewees. I’ll draft a list of ten or so questions, email them to you, and eagerly await your emailed reply. All you have to do is pick the five questions you want to answer and then send it back to me. Then, I’ll copy and paste that email to make it into a blog posting and set it for release while I’m away. We would have to act quickly on this so everything is done in time for my plane flight on the 8th.
What do you think? Would you like to be one of my Featured Visitors? Non-librarians welcomed too, just so you know!

Thanks for the heads up about our LINTerviews. I’m just clarifying that librariesinteract.info is not run by ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association). LINT is a collaborative library blog and not all of us are members of ALIA. We have posts about ALIA sometimes because it’s of interest to Australian library people. Good luck with your Featured Vistors.
