The Electrified Librarian

Definition:

An Electrified Librarian is a librarian who is both excited and scared by the possibilities possible with using tools and technologies that are run on electricity. Almost like she is electrocuted, the Electrified Librarian is someone who gets a jolt of energy from using tools. Electricity is a force of power that can be harnessed to solve many problems and the Electrified Librarian knows how to use electronically based tools to solve problems. Instead of being a digital librarian limited to the online world, the Electrified Librarian sees value in the analog world too and leaves open the possibility of future means of the transferring of information not yet imagined. The Electrified Librarian shared what she knows and has learned for the betterment of all libraries, librarians, and library patrons because she believes that information should be free.
