Northern Research Network

Brad Martin and I started the Northern Research Network November 2007 because we saw a real lack in networking opportunities for circumpolar researchers in the humanities and social sciences.

Here’s the description off the main page:

Welcome! The Northern Research Network facilitates dialogue among researchers conducting work on the circumpolar North in the humanities and social sciences. It is a vehicle for building professional relationships, communicating funding and conference news, sharing resources, and disseminating information on fieldwork and academic writing. As a meeting place for scholars, professionals, and graduate students, the network draws on the collective experience of its members to foster discussion and collaboration across disciplinary lines. Scroll down for news on northern events and research opportunities. To view additional resources, you will need to create a member account.
